Co-Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Panther is truly a Technology industry veteran with over 30 years engineering and corporate management experience.
Wi-Sys Communications, which is presently experiencing very strong sales growth,
marks the 3 rd successful start-up by Mr. Panther.
Starting with a stint at the legendary Microsystems International,
Mr. Panther has held the position of Engineering Vice-President for Siltronics Ltd.,
then SiGEM both of which he was a co-founder and principal, and has accumulated 10 patents to his credit.
Throughout his career, Mr. Panther has consistently demonstrated a commitment
to innovative product development, real product utility,
and fundamentally sound fiscal corporate management practices.
Mr. Panther was co-founder of the Canadian Semiconductor Design Association (CSDA)
and holds an Honours degree in Applied Physics from City University, London, England.

Prior to joining Wi-Sys, Mr. Edwards was Vice-President of Finance at Natunola Health Inc.;
a private held company involved in agri-biotechnology processing. Prior to Natunola,
Mr. Edwards was co-founder, Vice-President Finance and Corporate Secretary at SiGEM Inc.,
a publicly listed company. Mr. Edwards has over 30 years experience in various aspects of business
management and planning, development and project management in Canada and overseas at Newbridge Networks
Corporation, Bell Northern Research, Microsystems International Limited, the Export Development Corp.
and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
Mr. Edwards was also Director of Operations at the Strategic Microelectronics Consortium,
a national microelectronics industry association.
Mr. Edwards holds a MBA from University of Western Ontario,
a BASc from University of Waterloo and earned a Certificate of General Accounting.
[return to top] Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Mr. Dumont brings 20 years of wireless electronic components and system Sales,
Marketing and Business Development experience to Wi-Sys Communications. Throughout his career,
Mr. Dumont has proven to be very proficient at pioneering sales, establishing customers,
developing and managing sales, as well as building and managing Distribution Channels.
Mr. Dumont has spent most of his career managing sales in Europe, Asia and US markets
and is fluently bilingual in French and English.
Prior to Wi-Sys, Mr. Dumont served as International Sales Manager
at SpaceBridge Semiconductor Corp. and at Atsana Semiconductor.
Mr. Dumont has held similar sales positions at DCI, Taylor Controls and Tycor International.
Mr. Dumont has studied at the University of Ottawa in Business Administration
and at DeVry University in Electronics Engineering.
[return to top] Co-Founder and Chief Designer, Data Systems
Mr. Heckman has 35 years experience in the design and management of software systems,
including 15 years in hardware logic design. Mr. Heckman brings extensive experience
in both the design and project management of high-reliable,
redundant operation systems for vessel management and airport control.
Mr. Heckman spearheads Wi-Sys Communications’ data products design team,
which produces sophisticated forward error correcting communication protocols
for asset tracking products using cellular, satellite, and private radio channels,
employing state of the art DSP and ASIC solutions.
Prior to Wi-Sys, Mr. Heckman has held key Engineering positions at Mobile Knowledge,
SIGEM, Cygnus, Silcom Research and Microsystems International, as well as co-founded Nanotec Limited.
Mr. Heckman studied Mathematics and Physics at the University of Chicago.

Mr. Seymour has over 25 years experience in Engineering,
Product Management and Business Development experience in the Wireless Data Communications sector.
Mr. Seymour has extensive experience in the GPS, Cellemetry and Telematics market sector,
as well as extensive experience in the development of Taxi and Transit Dispatching systems,
and Data Communications systems operating over conventional radio networks.
Prior to joining Wi-Sys, Mr. Seymour served as Program Manager, Engineering Manager
and Business Development at Mobile Knowledge, Sigem, Gandalf Mobile, Avery Hardoll, Plessey and Marconi.
Mr. Seymour holds a Bsc. in Electronic Engineering from Portsmouth University in the U.K.
