These products will continue to carry a one-year warranty from date of shipment.

Wi-Sys Communications Inc., a leading manufacturer of high performance GPS Receivers, Telematics Antennas, RF Modules, as well as Timing and Telematics solutions, today announced the launch of the WS395X/WS396X embedded GPS Antenna Product Family.

The WS395X/WS396X Product Family features a perfectly tuned custom ceramic patch element that minimizes detuning effects caused by adjacent objects, 15KV ESD circuit protection, the industry’s lowest noise dual LNA design and a single or dual out- of-band SAW filter. The WS395Xs come in a very compact 28.4 mm square module and the WS396Xs come with a 45.2 mm dia. ground-plane.

The WS395X/WS396X embedded GPS antenna product family is broken down into the following six following antennas:

• WS3951 Very Low Noise Antenna – 28 dB gain, 0.5 dB noise, 8 mA, single SAW filter.
• WS3961 Very Low Noise Antenna with built-in ground-plane – 28 dB gain, 0.5 dB noise, 8 mA, single SAW filter.
• WS3951-HR High Rejection Antenna – 25 dB gain, 3.1 dB noise, 8 mA, dual SAW filter.
• WS3961-HR Very Low Noise Antenna with built-in ground-plane – 25 dB gain, 3.1 dB noise, 8 mA, dual SAW filter.
• WS3955 Very Low Current Antenna – 18 dB gain, 0.8 dB noise, 2 mA, single SAW filter.
• WS3965 Very Low Current Antenna with built-in ground-plane – 18 dB gain, 3.6 dB noise, 2 mA, single SAW filter.

Wi-Sys Communications Inc. will cease the production of the WS3950/60, WS3954/64 as well as the WS4057/67 embedded GPS Antenna Series. See following list for substitution.

The WR5011-MR GPS receiver integrates a high performance 12-channel GPS Receiver into a fully weatherproof magnetic mount “antenna style” housing. Now GPS tracking functions can be added to a GPS- ready two way mobile radio by a simply serial connection to the WS5011-MR roof mount GPS engine. The WR5011-MR is available with a compatible serial interface to Tait Communications GPS Direct Connect mobile radios.

An instant mapping and reporting system is available through the WI-Sys VIP software, that supports PTT ID, GPS tracking, and front panel messaging. The VIP system supports Tait Communications CCDI and MAP27 interfaces. VIP is available either as a web service with a local map server or as a dedicated software application. Installation of both hardware and software are extremely simple.
